Discovering Hidden Treasure in Made in Chelsea #Angus

in Made in Chelsea Cast

Meeting Angus Findley of Made in Chelsea is very confusing…

The model/reality star just isn’t what you’d expect.

Yes, he looks like a model.

Yes, he even looks like that chap on Made in Chelsea.

But that, ladies and gentlemen, is where the resemblance ends.

To provide you with a quick recap, Angus Findlay is the quiet chap who sometimes hangs out with the quirky Amelia Mist.

Upon arrival, he showed some initiative, optimism, or sheer folly, depending on your view, by attempting to secure a date with Miles Nazaire’s fiery on/off ex, Maeva D’ascanio.

Who promptly cancelled the date.

With a chuckle.

And that was pretty much that…

No more major stories for Angus, just a bit of egg on his face.

This was not particularly surprising as the bigger personalities inevitably get more air time.

So, why is my brain fried / scrambled? Keep Reading

BUILDing his Future: What Sammy Did Next

in Made in Chelsea Cast
Sam Thompson star of Celebs Go Dating, Made in Chelsea and Celebrity Big Brother is now a presenter for BUILD LDN.

A slim brown-haired fellow sneaks his head around the door and then ventures into the room, a little bashfully at first.

He’s quieter than you’d expect, polite to a fault, and he’s dressed down in skinnies and trainers.

You nod at him automatically because you’ve met him before.

Well, we all have.

He’s the everyman. He’s the boy next door. The type that mothers adore and eagerly proffer to their daughters.

And here he is now, checking in with the motherly (and fatherly) types in the audience, asking them how they are.

Promising the crowd that we won’t have to wait long until the show begins.

He has the brightest, brightest blue eyes.

He is bursting at the seams with positivity.

He is Sam Thompson.

Taylor-Made: Getting Schooled by Hugo Taylor

in Made in Chelsea/Made in Chelsea Cast
Hugo Taylor starred in Made in Chelsea on E4

Hugo Taylor strolled off our Made in Chelsea screens after series 3 in 2012 and hasn’t looked back.

Is it any wonder? He is the co-founder of the Taylor Morris sunglasses brand, with his best friend Charlie Morris.

Just take a look at who’s wearing their frames…

And here Hugo is now, in a Cambridge University lecture room on 21 February, talking to some of the brightest minds in the land about entrepreneurship – an event hosted by the fantastic folk at Cambridge University StartUp Society (CUSUS).

Hugo Taylor created Taylor Morris with his best friend Charlie Morris

If you had to describe the appearance of the reality star turned entrepreneur in three short words, they would be sleek, stylish and svelte.

He is as tall and lean as in his Made in Chelsea days – and has a languidity about him, a calm almost nonchalant quality of effortless ease, that makes you wonder what his secret is. Keep Reading

Spencer, Vogue and Funny Too

in Made in Chelsea Cast

There’s a reason why fairy tales end just before happily ever after is about to begin…

It’s because happily ever after often makes for very dull viewing.

So what hopes can you hold for a new show where Spencer Matthews, best-known for his pantomime villain performance in Made in Chelsea – settles into domestic bliss with model Vogue Williams?

The first episode of Spencer, Vogue and Baby Too aired on E4 on Monday night, and sees us following the loved-up couple around as they prepare for the birth of their first child.

As ‘plots’ go, it’s a pretty loose one, meaning that your enjoyment of the show almost entirely hinges on whether you find Spencer and Vogue entertaining.

The Naked Truth about Jamie Laing’s Private Parts…

in Made in Chelsea/Made in Chelsea Cast
Jamie Laing of Made in Chelsea fame bares all in the Private Parts tour of the UK in 2018.

Last night, I got intimate with Jamie Laing.

It was a raw, naked encounter and he didn’t disappoint – I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.

But we weren’t alone…

His mate, Francis Boulle, was there too.

And…other people

An auditorium full of them.

If you’re imagining some illicit sex party, you’re close – I was, of course, in the audience at the Private Parts show, currently on tour throughout the UK.

Private Parts is a stage show, inspired by the podcast of the same name. The (excellent) podcast is co-hosted by Jamie Laing and Francis Boulle, and features a variety of guests.

Jamie’s nudity may have been confined to the stage (damnit!) but the cheeky pair certainly bared all last night…

Caggie Dunlop sings It Will Never Be Over

It’s 11th September at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen and a heady air of anticipation is building.

For the gig is a return to the spotlight for Caggie Dunlop, former Made in Chelsea star, that’s been some six years in the making.

Caggie Dunlop performs at a Shoreditch gig.

Made in Chelsea first slid onto our screens back in 2011, a carefully curated glimpse into the world of wealthy young sloanes partying all over the leafier postcodes of West London.

Break ups and betrayals have littered every season since, but no love story has been as tantalisingly fraught as that of Caggie Dunlop, the doe-eyed young woman reconnecting with her childhood sweetheart, (Spencer Matthews), in the first two series of the show.

Lucy Watson: If I was to start again, I would probably date a vegan!

in Made in Chelsea/Made in Chelsea Cast
Lucy Watson 2018

In the award-winning cookbook Feed Me Vegan, author and former Made in Chelsea star, Lucy Watson, showed us that we could go vegan and still enjoy all our favourite meals.

Now the straight talking entrepreneur is back, following up on her 2o17 best-selling debut with Feed Me Vegan: For All Occasions.

Speaking to Venetia Falconer (from Talking Tastebuds podcast) at a Waterstones book signing, Lucy is dressed in a natty little ensemble that is far removed from the oft-mentioned hemp wearing vegan stereotype. She’s also intelligent, frank and very, very funny.

Lucy’s come a long way from Made in Chelsea, however what made her compelling viewing hasn’t changed…
